Prince Rupert Rampage roll into Kitimat

The Prince Rupert Rampage face off against the Kitimat Ice Demons Saturday night.

  • Dec. 14, 2018 12:00 a.m.

The Prince Rupert Rampage took the drive down highway 16 into enemy territory this weekend as they prepare to face the Kitimat Ice Demons and Terrace River Kings.

The game comes a week after the Rampage drubbed the Ice Demons by a final score of 7-2. The Rampage came out strong after their two-week break and scored three goals in the first period and from there they never looked back.

Kitimat has struggled this season so far, having yet to register their first win, posting a 0-10. While the Rampage have had a bounce-back year going 7-3 through their first 10 games, sitting second in the league standings.

Kitimat has had trouble fielding a full lineup in games thus far this season. Something that hurt them last week against the Rampage.

“They had a short bench which makes things tougher for them,” said Roger Atchison head coach of the Prince Rupert Rampage, after last weeks game.
