Project Perseverance fundraising continues this week

Plenty of ways to help the Cumberland Community Forest Society

The run is done, but not the fun.

With the 12th annual Perseverance Trail Run in the books – as another unqualified success – from now until Saturday, Oct. 29 there are many ways to help the Cumberland Community Forest Society meet some ambitious fundraising targets.

And every penny is matched by a generous secret agent.

As part of Project Perseverance, Perseverance Raffle tickets ($10) are on sale at the Wandering Moose and Riders Pizza or from a CCFS volunteer.

Prizes include two WestJet flights (anywhere they fly), Mount Washington lift passes, Tribune Bay camping, a cedar love seat, BC Ferries tickets and a Legendary Date Night in Cumberland.

The Perseverance Hallows’ Eve Ball on Saturday, Oct. 29 features music, dance performances, aerial acrobatics, inner sanctums, spirits and ales, costume contests and more.

Tickets are at Riders Pizza and each $30 ticket purchased is matched by supernatural forces!

To help the CCFS, donate cash or silent auction items. You can make a cash donation by cheque (just mention Project Perseverance in the note) and drop it off at the Wandering Moose or visit info@cumberlandforest.com and donate to Project Perseverance by credit card.

Donations for the silent auction on Oct. 29 are also welcome. Message info@cumberlandforest.com to make arrangements.

The Cumberland Community Forest Society is a registered charity and tax receipts are issued for all cash donations over $20.

Volunteers are required for  the upcoming events. There are many ways to contribute to this campaign and volunteering during Project Perseverance is a great one.
