The Billy Barker Casino team remains at the top of the Quesnel Sponsor League Curling standings as the teams wrapped up November play.
Billy Barker has a record of 6-1, while the Child Development Centre (CD) team is in second place at 5-2.
Wednesday, Nov. 11:
Fix Auto 7 – 3 Redz Shedz
Fix Auto took the lead in the first end and managed to keep it through seven ends. Redz Shedz had a chance to tie the game in the seventh but bumped Fix Auto in for the win.
Billy Baker Casino 9 – 4 Sky-Hi
After a close few ends, Billy Barker broke it open with a five-ender in the fourth and never looked back.
CDC 6 – 2 Service Electric
It took until the sixth end, but CDC flipped the switch on Service Electric with a steal for the win.
Wednesday, Nov. 18:
Sky-Hi Scaffolding 7 – 4 Fix Auto
Down 3-2 after four ends, Sky-Hi scored a big three in the fifth to go up 5-3. After giving up one in the sixth, Sky-Hi scored two in the seventh, keeping it clean in the eighth to win 7-4.
Redz Shedz 8 – 2 Service Electric
Tied at one after two ends, Redz Shedz made a hit and stick for three in the third. The electric boys hit a fast track in the pebble in the fourth on their final shot to go down 7-1. The teams shook hands after six ends.
CDC 6 – 4 Billy Baker Casino
No paydirt for the miners today. A perfectly-executed Jennifer Weagle tick in the final end was enough for them to fold their hands.
Wednesday, Nov. 25:
Service Electric 6 – 2 Fix Auto
Service Electric jumped out to a 5-1 lead after three ends. The teams exchanged singles in the next two ends. Fix Auto couldn’t get any traction and shook hands after six.
CDC 6 – 1 Sky-Hi Scaffolding
The kids came out to play today, chipping away at Sky-Hi for the win.
Billy Barker Casino 9 – 6 Redz Shedz 6
Tied at six after five ends, Billy Barker took control of the the game, scoring two in the sixth and stealing one in the seventh.
