The North Okanagan Everton Ridge Legends bowed 7-3 to the host Kamloops Rattlers in Okanagan Valley Bantam A2 lacrosse playoff action Thursday night.

The Legends, coached by Kevin Beauregard, edged the Rattlers 6-4 after a 10-minute running overtime in Game 2 Sunday afternoon at McArthur Island Sports Centre.
“They’re a resilient group of kids that showed tremendous heart and we showed everyone that when we play Okanagan lacrosse, we’re tough to beat,” said Legends’ assistant coach Casey Sherriff.
Both teams came out flying with huge hits. The Legends broke the ice halfway through the first from Kayden Beauregard.
Trailing 4-1 with four minutes remaining, Sean Howard sniped a shorthanded marker.
Kael Black was levelling Rattlers all over the place and it seemed to be wearing them down as the Legends mounted their comeback late on goals from Kaden Doughty and Beauregard, with 37 seconds remaining.
A 10-minute overtime ensued with the team scoring the most after the extra frame the winner.
The Legends got two goals from Howard and Doughty.
