Reece Hunt has returned to Nelson with a bronze medal from the women’s under-18 national hockey championships.
Hunt scored and had an assist in her first round-robin game with Team B.C. and was awarded player of the game in Quebec City. They finished the tournament with two goals and one assist.
B.C. finished with bronze after defeating Saskatchewan 2-1 on Sunday.
It’s the second year Hunt has played at the tournament. She also won a bronze last year with B.C.
