The Revelstoke Kodiaks women’s hockey team hosted a tournament last weekend.

Dawson Creek walked away with the third annual Diva Cup title.

Each team played four games. The other teams travelled to town from Kamloops, Vernon, Golden and Nakusp.

“It was the most successful tournament for us,” said Nadja Luckau, of the Kodiaks, in an email. “We have come a long way in the last few years.”

The money raised from the raffle will be used to continue improving women’s hockey in Revelstoke.

The team is starting an eight week Learn to Play Hockey series on Tuesday. Luckau said they have 15 women interested so far. Anyone else interested can contact the team at revelstokekodiaks@gmail.com.

Regular drop in scrimmages are Wednesday nights 8:25-9:25. All skill levels are welcome.
