After turning in a record performance at the Island championships, Reynolds Chase Haagensen sprinted to a pair of gold medals at the B.C. High School Track Championships in Langley.
Haagensen, a Grade 10 student at Reynolds, won gold in both the junior boys 100 and 200 metres.
Other Reynolds athletes to reach the podium included Kalum Delaney, who snagged silver in the senior boys 3,000m and just missed the podium with a fourth-place finish in the steeplechase. Gabriele Landi took silver in senior boys 400m hurdles, while Michael Leung landed bronze in senior boys shot put.
