Nanaimo swimmers were fast out of the chute at the Mies Schootman Invitational meet in Vancouver on the weekend.
The Nanaimo Riptides had a contingent of athletes at the high-calibre annual event at the University of British Columbia Aquatic Centre and scored a number of top-five placings.
