The Langley Rivermen have added a new player with a history of piling up the points.
The junior A hockey club inked 20-year-old forward Jamie Vlanich.
“Obviously the team has been doing great and I’m looking forward to adding to the progress that they have made already in what is going to be a successful season and hopefully a long playoff run,” he said.
The Trail native most recently played junior B with the Nelson Leafs and was the top scorer in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League with 12 goals and 37 points in just 15 games.
The 5-9, 160-pound forward has 147 points in 130 career KIJHL games.
He also played 44 games of junior A with the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. He had nine goals and 26 points in that time.
Vlanich had an assist in his debut, a 4-3 win over the Chilliwack Chiefs on Oct. 30.
