From the ice to the gym, the Kelowna Rockets took a break, Tuesday morning, from their regular routine to engage with children from two local schools.
Players attended North Glenmore Elementary and Kelowna Christina School to talk to children about sports and a variety of other topics as well as play a game the Rockets are known for.
Students from each school were able to pick up a stick and play some floor hockey with their favourite Rockets.
The Rockets schools program is an ongoing effort that sees players attend different schools each week to spend time, read, and play hockey with young students.
