The Kelowna Rockets announced Saturday that they have released import defenceman Libor Zabransky to the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League.

“Libor has been released to the Fargo Force of the USHL,” said general manager Bruce Hamilton. “With eight defencemen here, we felt we needed to move one of our defenders. We tried to trade him within the Western Hockey League. However, teams are only allowed two import players, and we couldn’t get a deal done. He will report to Fargo immediately.”
