Louis Ferraro began playing hockey when he was only six years old in France.

When he played minor hockey, he vividly remembers when he scored his second goal in the finals of the Esso Minor Hockey week, which ended up being the game winning goal.

Golden seemed like the perfect fit for the 18 year old, who moved here from Calgary, and loves the mountains. Now, he has scored one goal on October 6 for the Rockets against the Grand Forks Border Bruins, and had previously assisted a goal at the beginning of the season against the Sicamous Eagles.

He works hard to push himself and his teammates to be better players.

“I’m a good teammate because no matter what happens to me, I will always have their back. I will always push them to their limits and encourage them as best as I can,” he said.

After this year with the Rockets, he wants to be able to look back on the season and have no regreats.

“I want to know that no matter what the result of our season is, I ant to be able to say I did everything I could to help the team,” he said.

What are your future aspirations?

I want to play in the Magnus league, which is the top pro league in France. I also want to get a graduate degree in computer science.

If you did not play hockey, what would you be doing?

I would be going to university, working on getting a computer science major, and a minor in nano science.

What are you most excited for this season?

To Play. Especially in front of fans. It just feels so amaing to know that people support you no matter what.

What is your favourite food?

I love pizza. Especially Neopolitan pizza. I could have pizza every single day and not get sick of it.

If you could bring on character to life from your favourite movie or book, who would it be?

I would bring to life Frank Abagnale Jr. from the movie Catch me if you Can because to see the story develop in real life would be really cool and eye opening (even though what he does is extremely illegal).
