Thomas “T.J.” Johnson is a hard working defensive centre on the Golden Rockets.
He began playing Timbits hockey when he was four years old, and was part of the winning team in his league last year.
Johnson decided to come to Golden because he thought it would be a good community to play in, and has become an integral part of the team since he joined the Rockets. He is always there for his other teammates, and wants to have a good year playing for the team, and have fun while doing it.
He wants to play hockey for as long as he can, and then he plans to go to school and get a stable job in the future.
“He leads our team in blocking shots, and he leads by example night after night,” said head coach Jeremy Blumes.
In the Golden Rockets game against the Osoyoos Coyotes on December 1, Johnson scored one of the goals against the tough team.
