W.J. Mouat Hawks star basketballers Cierra and Alicia Roufosse have signed letters of intent to play with the University of San Francisco Dons, the school announced earlier this month.
The Roufosse twins helped lead the Hawks to the provincial championship final in 2015, with Alicia named to the first all-star team and Cierra named to the second team.

Alicia also participated in Canada’s 2015 Women’s National Age Group Assessment Camp.
While the pair had previously indicated they would be playing at the University of the Fraser Valley, they have instead opted to play with the Dons in the NCAA’s Division 1.
“Both Cierra and Alicia are outstanding additions to the USF family,” said head coach Jennifer Azzi in a press release. “Both possess a strong work ethic and a desire to win at the highest level, and we are excited to coach them and help them develop.”
Cierra and Alicia are identical twins and both stand six-foot-three.
Azzi was enthusiastic about Cierra’s versatility and mid-range game, along with Alicia’s ability to post-up and defend.
