Happiness is a fun run.
Wonder who those smiling folks are who are running downtown on Saturday mornings? We are the 5k Running Clinic presented by the Comox Valley Road Runners. It’s a phenomenal 10-week program that finishes with a 5K graduation Fun Run on March 23. The race is open to the public, so if you want to join in on the fun, here’s the scoop:
What? 5K Fun Run. No pressure, just experience the 5K distance;
Where? Rotary Hall, Florence Filberg Centre, Courtenay;
When? Saturday, March 23
The entry fee is $10 per person. Registration is from 8:30 – 9 a.m.
Walkers start at 9:30 a.m. The main start is 9:45 a.m.
