As teams inch closer to the round of eight, Thursday and Friday, clear leaders of each pool are starting to separate from the pack.
Manitoba leads Pool A with an undefeated record of 4-0 and in Pool B Newfoundland and Labrador are also undefeated at 4-0.
The Wild Card team sits second in Pool A with a bunch of teams then locked up with 2-2- records. In Pool B Alberta is 3-1, along with Team Canada. As of Tuesday morning, Team B.C. and Ontario are tied for the final spot that would send them on to the next round.
Who to watch:
Team B.C. (2-2) will have a pair of pivotal games today as they face Ontario (2-2) at 9 a.m. on Sheet A then return at 7 p.m. to face Team Alberta (3-1) on Sheet D.
Also playing in the 9 a.m. draw is Newfoundland and Labrador (4-0) versus Team Canada (3-1) on Sheet B, Alberta versus Nunavut (0-4) on Sheet C and Prince Edward Island (1-3) plays Quebec (1-3) on Sheet D.
The afternoon draw, 2 p.m., features Yukon (0-4) against Wild Card (3-1) on Sheet A, Manitoba (4-0) versus New Brunswick (2-2) on Sheet B, Northwest Territories plays Nova Scotia (2-2) on Sheet C and Saskatchewan (2-2) faces Northern Ontario (2-2) on Sheet D.
If you are heading to the 7 p.m. you will see Newfoundland and Labrador playing Quebec on Sheet A, Nunavut against Ontario on Sheet B, Team Canada plays Prince Edward Island on Sheet C. As well as Team B.C.’s second game.
Where’s the party at?
The HeartStop Lounge will feature live music this evening at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre with Petunia on stage at 10:15 p.m.
At 5:30 p.m., curlers from Yukon, Manitoba and New Brunswick will visit the HeartStop Lounge at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre to sign autographs and take photos with fans.
