The win improved the Blaze to 3-2 in the Pacific Metro Baseball League.

The Langley team also plays in the Pacific International League and they are now 6-2 following a split on Sunday against the Kamloops Sun Devils.

The games were played at Abbotsford’s Delair Park.

Kamloops scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning to take the opener 3-1.

Scott Webster had the lone Langley RBI, with a single in the first inning that scored Mike Krische.

But the Blaze found their offence in game two, scoring seven runs in the first two innings to cruise to the 9-2 victory.

Bob Foerster had four RBIs and Graig Merritt drove in three more.

Brad Ferraro, who went 4-for-4, also had an RBI.

Corey Parsons allowed two unearned runs as he pitched a complete game five-hitter. He struck out three.

Langley also played a pair of exhibition games on Saturday against EnFuego USA in Kent, Wash.

The Blaze lost the opener 6-5 but bounced back to win game two 7-3.

Ricky Alvernaz and Shane Kraemer hit two RBIs apiece in the win while Aaron Hornanski had a pair of RBIs in the loss.

The Blaze host the Burnaby Bulldogs on June 19 at McLeod Park and then hit the road to face Coquitlam on June 20.
