The U18 baseball team jumped to an early lead and never looked back, pounding the White Rock Tritons 10-4 on Thursday (April 24) at South Surrey Athletic Park.
The win improved Langley to 7-1 in the B.C. Premier Baseball League while White Rock fell to 2-7.
Connor Chorpita drove in a pair of runs, while Dakota Curry, Mitchell Robinson and Liam Wyatt had one RBI apiece. Wyatt is tied for the league lead with six RBIs.
Kyle McComb scored three runs.
The Blaze took advantage of five White Rock errors.
On the mound, Cooper Misic struck out eight over six innings, allowing two runs.
Langley is scheduled to play a four-game set in Kelowna this weekend against the Okanagan Athletics (4-2).
