The Vernon Silhouettes were golden at the Interior Region Synchronized Swimming Championships last weekend in Coquitlam.

The Vernon Silhouettes were golden at the Interior Region Synchronized Swimming Championships last weekend in Coquitlam.

“I’m proud of how well the girls performed, and excited to start training for provincials in Victoria for the end of May,” said Silhouette head coach Katie Dick.

Shelby Kerr struck gold in Level 5 Figures, while Level 4 gold went to Julia Palfreyman.

Kassandra Ferguson finished fourth in Level 3 Figures.

Megan Sloot claimed gold in the Level 2 13 & Over Figures, while Emma Smith took silver and Brittany Hill-Lonergan bronze.

Kerr and Palfreyman, coached by Katie Dick, won the Level 5 duet, while the Level 4 solo gold went to Palfreyman, coached by Dick and Lisa Balcombe.

The Level 2 13 & Over Jungle team of Ferguson, Sloot, Smith, Hill-Lonergan, Peterson, Schwaerzle, Muller and Buchholz, coached by Dick, collected the gold medal.

The Jaws team of Sunderland, Kelly, Bernard, Dalby and Elliott, coached by Norlene Keller, earned silver.
