Fraser Valley’s Teagan Dixon (right) fends off the check of a member of the Quesnel Northstars during U19 action at Sportsplex over the weekend. The teams were part of the seventh annual Michelle Vandale Memorial Spirit of Winter ringette tournament, which saw teams from the U14 age group to masters faced off at the George Preston Recreation Centre, Sportsplex and the Aldergrove Arena for three days of action. Dixon and her teammates won silver in the U19 division.
