White Rock gymnast Gordie Kordas finished second all-around last week at a Men’s Elite Canada gymnastics meet in Brampton, Ont.
Kordas, a 16-year-old member of Surrey Gymnastics Society, was competing in the high performance tyro category. He finished third on pommel horse and vault, fourth on floor and high bar and fifth on parallel bars.
His scores guarantee him a spot at Canadian Championships, scheduled for May in Chartlottetown, PEI.
