The Sunterra Sistas shut down the short-staffed Centerline Attack 5-0 in North Okanagan Women’s Soccer Association Division 2 play Thursday night at Marshall Field #5.

Kim Sylvester ran through Centerline’s back line to score 10 minutes into the first half. After receiving a Jennie Currie cross, Sylvester buried it from outside the penalty box.

A few minutes later, Centerline’s keeper was fooled by crafty Carmen Kinniburgh, who carried the ball into the box directly towards the keeper, and at the last second, made a nifty pass to Andrea Zubot for an easy touch into an open net.

Angela Otto then put a sweet through ball to Deanna Baker for a 3-0 lead before the break.

Sylvester converted early in the second half with Nicole Williams and Kinniburgh drawing assists.

Sarah Ehman found net after a Miranda Dalhuisen feed to complete the attack.

Marisa Wiebe and Cassandra Otto were solid on defence and keeper Suzyn August stopped several good Centreline chances.

The Attack fielded just 10 players.
