SURREY — Surrey Pegasus is one soccer win away from going to the nationals for the first time since 2011.
The Vancouver Metro Soccer League Premier division team is facing the Coquitlam Metro Ford Wolves in the Provincial ‘A’ Cup finals Saturday in Victoria.

To get there, Surrey Pegasus needed to beat Saanich, Comox and Pacific United, which they beat 1-0 in the semifinal (Javid Khan scoring the lone goal).
The last time Surrey Pegasus made it to nationals was in 2011, when they placed second.
The team also made it to the nationals in 2004, where they won it all.
Surrey Pegasus is coached by Paul Bahia and managed by Jasmeet Jaswal.
