Young athletes, like all kinds of young people are always hearing of the importance of teamwork and effort. On April 16 the Sooke Soccer Club offered tangible awards to three important players on each of the boys and girls teams in the age groups from 13 to 18.
The All Star/Awards Weekend was a tremendous success with clear and dry weather for the event. Close to $2,500 was raised and put toward the new turf field the club is saving for.
