The Greater Victoria Law Enforcement and Special Olympics B.C. Torch Run will run up the Galloping Goose Trail and onto the grounds of Saanich municipal hall on Saturday.
The torch run starts at about 9 a.m., escorted by members of various Greater Victoria law enforcement agencies and Special Olympics B.C. athletes.
The annual run five-kilometre run-walk will follow the Goose, and end with a pancake breakfast by donation at 10 a.m. at municipal hall.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is a global movement that’s raised funds and awareness for Special Olympics since 1990.
