108 LADIES GOLF CLUB
If you’re looking to whack some balls, you’re in luck. The new season is about to start and new members, as well as existing members, are welcome. Their first meeting will be Thursday, May 11 at 7 p.m. in the Hanger Restaurant across from the 108 Resort.
FLEXIBLE SHOW
If you’re a senior and would like to see some impressive twists, turns and tumbles, the Gymnastics Club will be putting on a show at the Bethel Church Gymnastics Hall on Friday, April 28 starting at 1 p.m. Catch local youth showing off their best!
CARPET BOWLING
100 Mile House has been chosen to host the 2017 Provincial Carpet Bowling Championship. The event will take place May 1 to May 5. In total, there will be 64 bowlers making up teams of pairs, triples and fours coming to town from up to seven zones. There will be teams from Vancouver Island and as far north as Smithers. The event will be held at the Community Hall (Birch Ave.), with a banquet and ceremonies at the Creekside Seniors Activity Centre.
