Midget House Tournament
The Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex will play host to a midget house hockey tournament over the weekend. Six Williams Lake teams, three Kamloops teams and one Chilliwack team will compete in the tournament. The gold medal game begins at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Smackdown 2011
The Williams Lake Wrestling Club hosts its elementary wrestling Smackdown playday. More than 200 wrestlers are expected to participate.
Sunday, Jan. 30
Bull Mountain Blast
The Williams Lake Cross Country Ski Club hosts the Bull Mountain Blast — a fun, participation-oriented cross-country ski event for all ages and levels of skiers.
The event follows the same enduro format as the popular Pedal By The Puddle mountain bike race.

WLLSA co-ed tourney
The WLLSA is hosting a Co-ed Soccer Tournament from Feb. 11-12 at WLSS. It will begin on Friday at 5 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. (depending on the number of teams) and continue Saturday morning at 8 a.m. The final will be at 3 p.m. The entry fee is $100 per team.
