PORT HARDY—The hockey season is in full swing and the weather hardly suggests a sporting match of football, but Port Hardy Youth Soccer Association is ready to begin preparing for the coming season and has announced its Annual General Meeting for next Monday.
The AGM will begin at 7 p.m. Jan. 12 at Eagle View Elementary School, and all those interested in ensuring a successful 2015 spring season are encouraged to take part.
A number of members of the current executive positions are expected to need replacing, and volunteers are being sought for coaching and a variety of other functions in the association.
Organizers say the AGM presents a great opportunity to learn more about the association, meet others involved in the program and make contacts.
