WRANGLERS HOME OPENER
The 100 Mile House Wranglers won one and lost one last weekend as they knocked off the Sicamous Eagles 7-2 in Sicamous on Sept. 16, but lost the home opener 3-0 to Osoyoos Coyotes on Sept. 17.
The Wranglers are tied for second place with the Kamloops Storm (both with two wins and two losses for four points) in the Doug Birks Division.
The Wranglers host the Sicamous Eagles on Friday (Sept. 23) and then hit the road for a tilt with the North Okanagan Knights on Sept. 24. The puck drops at 7 p.m. both nights.
CURLING STARTS UP
Curling registration (juniors included) is taking place in the upstairs lounge at the 100 Mile Curling Club on Wrangler Way in the South Cariboo Rec. Centre on Sept. 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. Cariboo Regional District Recreation passes will be available at registration.
CARRIAGE DRIVING WINDUP
The final event of the carriage-driving season is the Cariboo Trails Field Driving Trials and the Heritage Pleasure Driving Classes at Huber Farm in 70 Mile House is on Oct. 1-2.
There will be a concession on site, and those wanting more information can contact Ken Huber at 250-456-6050 or huberx3@telus.net.
Folks will want to bring their cameras to capture the action.
WRANGLERS SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for the 100 Mile House Wranglers Junior B hockey club games have gone on sale.
Adult regular season tickets are $241.50 each, while students and seniors regular season tickets go for $183.75.

The Wranglers home opener is against the Osoyoos Coyotes on Sept. 17 with the puck dropping at 7 p.m. Come early for the pre-game festivities for the KIJHL, provincial and Western Canada champions.
