Penticton midget tier 2 Vees improved to 5-0-1 after shutting out Winfield 5-0. Liam Neary, Harry Gidda, Eric Buckley, Joel Marte and Tylers Ehlers scored for Penticton. Neary also added two assists.

Penticton Collision Fix Auto Ice Dragons lost to the Westside Green Martians 4-3. Hannah Lund scored twice, while Maiya Anutooshkin scored the other with assists to Shannon Robinson and Andrea Main. Scoring for the Martians was Logan Tutt with two Zach Strochen and Austin Jeffrey.

Canadian Tire female peewee team 1 continued their winning streak with a 10-2 win over Summerland atom recreation. Sage Collins earned a win during her debut in goal. Cedar Carter and Cassidy Lindsay scored twice, while Kaitlin Black, Katie Huston, Chloe Brydon, Sage Togyi, Haley Lund and Sophia Reimer all pocketed one each.

Penticton and Friends Charity Golf Classic at the Penticton Golf and Country Club raised $35,000.00 to local charity. The money will be going to Young Life, Village by the Station, Salvation Army, Alzheimer’s Society, O.S.N.S., B.C. Special Olympics and Penticton and District  S.C.L.

Lakers volleyball

Pen High Lakers senior boys volleyball team lost to the Kelowna Secondary School Owls in four games. The Lakers look to bounce back on Friday against Mennonite Educational Institute during the George Elliott tournament. The senior girls team also lost, though their fate was decided in five sets.
