Alley Brats lead darts

The Alley Brats and Clanceys Arrows top the A and B Divisions, respectively in the Penticton and District Dart Association Standings. The Alley Brats lead the A side with 13 points after scoring seven on Monday. Tied for second are the Smokin Aces and Elks 1 with 11 points. Clanceys Dreggers are fourth with 10 points after scoring two and Clanceys Snipers round out the top five with nine points scoring three on Monday. On the B side, the Arrows are in a three-way tie with Shooting Stars and Vixens with nine points. There is a two-way tie for fourth between Elks Points and Dart Bags with seven points. Doug Belanger earned the high out with 177 and the high out 153. Mike Meaney earned a 180. Karen Franz and Ginny Baker had the high score of 160, Missy Kolbe scored the high out with 124.

Men’s rec hockey

In Penticton Men’s Rec Hockey action the Game Time Sports Wolverines defeated the Broncos 5-2. Carter Rigby, Ryan MacMurchy, Dylan Burton, Thierry Martine and Brett Anderson scored for the Wolverines. Chris Pond and Tyler Ehlers scored for the Broncos. The Hitmen picked up a 6-2 win over the Wolverines. Mark Petry led the Hitmen with three goals. Martine and Crawford scored for the Wolverines. The Wolverines defeated the Biscuits 9-4. They were led by Olli Dickson with three, while Rigby and Burton scored two. Andy McGinn, Dave Sandrelli, Rylan Sideroff and Kenton Johnson scored for the Biscuits. The Hitmen defeated teh Broncos 4-3. Petry, Luc Rioux, Blain Ford and Michael Pond scored for the Hitmen. Ehlers, Stuart Nisbet and Carl Walton scored for the Broncos.

Rona and HLW net wins in indoor soccer

Rona earned their eighth win in the Bad Tattoo Brewery Masters Indoors Soccer League with an 8-6 decision over PE Lock and Key. Paul Borb, three goals, and Darryl Pace, two, led the offensive attack for Rona. PLK got a pair of goals from Norman Peters and Peter Ruocco. Harvey-Lister-Webb picked up its seventh win after defeating TC Auto 6-4. Darren Schimpf led HLW with three goals. Peter Toth, Mike Beliveau, Carlos Mendonca and Ray Evans scored for TC Auto.
