Registration is still being accepted for the Friday Night Hoops girls program.
Friday Night Hoops introduces girls in Grades 3 to 7 to the sport and the sessions are designed to produce an environment that has players learn skills, have fun and be competitive.
Head instructors are Neil Brown and Chris Veale and they will be assisted by members of the Brookswood Bobcats’ girls program, as well as former UBC player Linda Forsyth.
Graduates of the FNH program have won a dozen provincial championships over the past 10 years.
The program begins tomorrow (Friday) and runs through until Nov. 21. There is no session on Oct. 31.
The sessions run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with 60 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of game time. The groups are split into Grades 3 to 5 and Grades 6/7.
Cost is $60.
