The Williams Lake Stampeders will play its first home playoff game of the Central Interior Hockey League season when they host the Quesnel Kangaroos following a 6-2 game-one win last Saturday in Quesnel.
The Stamps, who received a first-round bye in the playoffs following a first-place campaign, will hit the ice at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.
The Kangaroos, meanwhile, defeated the Smithers Steelheads in round one of the playoffs after erasing a one-game deficit to win back to back games in Smithers — 7-4 and 2-1 in overtime last weekend.
If necessary, game three will be played Sunday in Williams Lake at 1:30 p.m. in the best-of-three series.
