Storage containers placed at Forrest Field

Soccer and football teams at Forrest Field in Ladysmith now have a place to store their stuff.

Soccer and football teams at Forrest Field in Ladysmith now have a place to store their stuff.

Recently the Ladysmith Kinsmen met with Mid-Isle Soccer and Ladysmith Steelers Football to hand over the keys to two storage containers the leagues will be able to use.

Player, coaches and parents will be pleased. Now all the equipment from both leagues won’t have to be hauled back and forth from Forrest Field after each game or practice.

The Kinsmen had the units insulated and supplied with electricity for light and heat to keep the equipment in good condition and safe. The soccer and football teams will paint their containers with their own colours and logos.
