The Campbell River Storm Junior Hockey Club re-acquired left-handed defenseman Trent Johnson, 19, from the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs of the Eastern Hockey League.
Johnson played 38 regular season games with the Storm last year, registering 10 goals and 34 assists for 44 points. He also recorded a goal and three assists during ten playoff games.
“This is a real big addition to our hockey club,” says Storm head coach Lee Stone, “Trent is exceptional at zone exits, he moves the puck effectively, he’s very skilled offensively, and is the type of player that can quarterback our powerplay.”
Expect the 5’10”, 154 pound defenseman in the line-up this weekend.
