Penticton Speedway had its final race day that was also a fundraiser for Scott Mullin

STREETSTOCKS CHAOS — Mel Cole (8) does the spin-around on the first turn in the street stocks race while competitors Jesse Carvell (11) and Al Rempel try to avoid him during the Day of Destruction event at the Penticton Speedway, Sunday. It was final race day of the season. Penticton Speedway used its final day as a fundraiser for the family of Scott Mullin, who recently died. They are giving the family $1,747. The brother of Scott Mullin’s wife, Christina, won the 50/50 draw receiving $1,497 and handed it over to his sister. Okanagan Racing Experience auctioned off the chance for someone to ride as the passenger and raised $250, which also went to the Mullins family.
