Summerland Ladies Club
On Tuesday, April 23 the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club played nine holes. Winners were determined by thier low net scores.
First flight: First Lil Smith 67; tied for second Lanette Graham and Val Eibner, 70.
Second flight: First Barb Oleschuk, 66; second Pat Stohl, 75; third Janis Goll, 78.
Summerland Senior Men
On April 25, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club played a one gross, three net scores golf event.
Bob Fortune won the overall low gross with a 77 by countback over Warren Julien while Alf Vaagen and Rick Drewnisz topped their respective flights.
Doug Marchesi was the overall low net winner with a 66.
Five players shared the deuce pot, They were David Smith, Stu Macaulay, Chuck Harman, Doug Marchesi and Bob Fortune.
First flight: First low gross Bob Fortune, 77 cb; first low net Chuck Harman, 67; second low net Warren Julien, 71; third low net Dennis Glasscock, 74.
Second flight: First low gross Alf Vaagen, 73; first low net Doug Marchesi, 66; second low net Jeff Clarke, 69; third low net Ken Bridgeman, 70.
Third flight: First low gross Rick Drewnisz, 90; first low net Gulbag Hans, 70; second low net Al Thomas, 72 cb; third low net David Smith, 72 cb.
