SURREY – Surrey Special Olympics BC powerlifter Malcolm Gendall has set two new provincial records.
The 17-year-old athlete set a record in the 75 kg Bench Press and the 110 kg Deadlift, Sub-Junior Men’s Unequipped 59 kg division.
Malcolm did so during his first-ever powerlifting tournament, the B.C. Powerlifting Association Winter Open 2016.
The BCPA recently celebrated his records with these certificates.
