Last weekend turned out to be a move up and a move down for the local ringette teams.
On Saturday, both the U12 and U14 girls were competing against their Prince George counterparts in exhibition games.
The U12 girls played their game here in Quesnel.
Despite the home town advantage, the Quesnel girls couldn’t keep ahead of the Prince George girls, with a final of 10-4 in favour of Prince George.
The U14 girls, however, managed to take control of the game over their counterparts.
The U14 girls took their game on the game, chaellenging the Prince George girls on their own turf and winning 7-4.
This weekend the U10, U12 and U14 girls will be on the for a tournament in Terrace.
