ennis weather has arrived!

With all the attention focussed on Canada’s incredible and well-deserved success in Davis Cup, it will surely generate some great interest in growing Kid’s Tennis programs in Canada.

Here in the Comox Valley, Brenda Dean, owner of In Your Court Tennis Academy, is working with the Courtenay and Comox recreation centres to do just that.

Progressive Tennis programs and Youth FUNdamental programs are scheduled to begin the May 7th week.  Please check the Comox Valley Recreation Reporter for times

and class descriptions.

Dean continues to parter with the National Diabetes Association in the education and prevention of type 2 diabetes in children and adults.

“Making a decision to get up, get out, and get moving is so important,” she says. Knowing what to do and where to go for help with that is key. The Comox Valley Rec Reporter is a great place to start that journey.  There are so many things you can do to begin your road to better health and fitness.  Choosing tennis is a great way to get moving and spending time having fun,” Dean said

Check out Dean’s Facebook page at In Your Court Tennis or contact her at inyourcourttennis@gmail.com. The recreation centre phone numbers are Courtenay 250-338-5371 and Comox 250-339-2255.
