Terrace skater Kaytlin Gingles won gold in her Star 4 free skate event at the Kelowna Super Series early this month.
Coach Jennifer Kuehne said it was “a near flawless performance to Bollywood-themed music,” in the age 13 and over division at the tournament.
The championship included clubs from all over B.C. including the Island, Metro Vancouver and across the Lower Mainland.
Two skaters from the Terrace Skating Club competed in Kelowna, with the other being Maya Lecuyer who also earned a personal best.
Camryn Monsen and Halle Classen were also scheduled to join, but were hit by the flu and injuries and could not attend.
