The Terrace Totem Ford midget reps travelled to Merritt where they went undefeated in an ice breaker tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend, Oct. 8 – 10.
The reps took on teams from as far away as North Vancouver, Victoria, Port Alberni and Nanaimo.
Team manager Darren Munson said he is very pleased with the team’s performance over the weekend, especially as it only has two games under its belt so far.
“Our team played well-disciplined hockey,” he said.
“This was a huge confidence booster for our boys to start off the season with.”
The team will take on Smithers this weekend in Smithers in the first matchup for the two teams this season.
The next tournament will be in Quesnel Nov. 4 – 6.
