The Golden Rockets are on the road for three games in three days, and they started the trip off with a 4-1 win over the Spokane Braves.
After a scoreless first period, the Rockets took the lead in the second when Keith Wake scored off of Captain Darren Andre. They strengthened their lead on the penalty kill with a short-handed goal from Kyle Garcia.
Golden tallied another short-handed goal in the third, this time it came unassisted from Jacob Bergeron at 8:26.
Spokane managed to get on the scoreboard with a goal from Dylan Tappe. But Andre restored the three-goal lead on the power play with just over a minute left on the clock.
The Rockets play tonight (Feb. 11) against the Beaver Valley Nitehawks.
