The visiting Lac La Hache Tomahawks skated to a 7-6 win over the Quesnel Kangaroos Saturday night in front of a packed house at Twin Arenas.
The teams entered the third period tied at 3-3.
The third period saw the Tomahawks score two powerplay goals and two short-handed goals, including the winner into an empty net.
The Kangaroos scored three powerplay goals in the period, but despite having many chances could get the puck past Tomahawks netminder William Sellars.
Despite the loss, the ‘Roos are in the playoffs which begin in a couple of weeks.
