Lord Tweedsmuir and Semiahmoo will play for the Surrey RCMP Classic crown tonight (Saturday).
The championship game of the all-Surrey boys basketball tournament is at Enver Creek Secondary (14505 84th Ave.) starting at 7:45 p.m.
Friday night’s semifinal games saw Cloverdale’s Tweedsmuir beat Fleetwood Park 79-74, and Semiahmoo top Tamanawis, 75-71 in overtime.
Meantime, the junior boys championship game will be played today at 12:15 p.m., in a battle between Panorama Ridge and Queen Elizabeth. In semifinal games Thursday, Panorama topped Tamanawis 60-52, while Queen Elizabeth took care of Elgin Park, 61-43.

The 28th annual Surrey RCMP Classic kicked off Sunday (Jan. 13). The tournament involves close to 650 student athletes in games played at school gyms across the city.
In the 2018 Classic final last January, Semiahmoo topped Tamanawis to win the senior boys championship by a score of 73-64. In the 2018 junior final, Tamanawis beat Lord Tweedsmuir.
Elsewhere in Surrey, host Holy Cross will play Vancouver College in the boys final of the BC Catholics tournament, 8 p.m. start at the high school in Fleetwood. The girls final gets going at 6:30 p.m., with St. Thomas Aquinas facing Little Flower Academy.
