Archers nail medals in Quesnel
The Cariboo Archers were at it again over the weekend, this time taking sight at the Quesnel River Archers Indoor 3D shoot.
And every Cariboo Archer who attended the meet made it to the podium.
Blake Pigeon, a four-year-old budding archer, won the pre-cub category.
Not to be outdone, brother Taylor Pigeon took third in the youth compound bow category and also nailed a spot shoot to win a prize.
The father-daughter duo of Dan and Nikki Mobbs dominated their men’s and women’s traditional categories to finish first while both winning money in the adult spot shoot.
John Walker and Dan Cooper won silver and gold, respectively, in the competitive men’s open category — each also earning money in the spot shoot.
Al Campsall, competing in the masters open category, sniped a gold medal.
Coming up on March 13 the Cariboo Archers host its annual general meeting at the Bond Lake Road Rod and Gun Club. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. and will include freeshootting, target shooting and a free lunch for those interested in attending.
Following that, from March 26-27, the club will host its Indoor 3D Shoot at the Trail Riders Arena.
