Twisters athletes earn medals

Female athletes took home numerous medals earlier this month at the Twisters Invitational at Exhibition Park.

Competitors who flew in from Nova Scotia and even Japan for the three day competition.

In women’s results, in division JO1, Elizabeth Greencorn won silver medals for the all-around, vault, beam and floor. Hailey Hystek also won silver medals for all-around, vault, bars, beam and floor. Grace Lozada won silver medals for all-around, vault, bars and floor, and a bronze medal for beam.

In division JO3, Amelie Shea won gold medals for all-around and floor, and picked up a silver medal for bars. Eliza Gooch won gold for vault, silver for floor, and bronze for all-around.

Emily Phillips won gold on floor, silver for vault and bronze for all-around. Caitlyn Carstensen won a gold medal for vault and bronze medals for all-around and floor. Lauren Robertson won gold on bars and silver on vault.

Roxanne Makara won bronze medals for bar and floor. Sydney Archondous won a bronze for vault, and Vienna Howes won a bronze medal for bars.

In division JO5, Kennedy Fast won gold medals for vault and floor, and silver medals for all-around and beam.

Rolanda Donald won gold for beam and bronze medals for all-around and vault.

In division JO7, Katelyn Cotterell won a bronze medal for floor. In JO8, Jadyn Ansell won gold for vault, and Samantha Reitsema won bronze for vault.

In JO9, Jordis Kliewer won gold for floor and bronze for beam. Mikhayla Rosenow won gold for vault and bronze for floor. Marissa Engh also won bronze for floor.

Finally, in the JO10 division, Brienna Gaspar won gold on floor and bronze all-around.
