Two Langley teams in semifinals of Tsumura basketball championships

Two Langley teams are in the final four of the 2018 Girls Tsumura Basketball Invitational underway at the Langley Events Centre.

Walnut Grove Gators and Brookswood Bobcats are set to battle in one semifinal while defending B.C. Senior Girls AAA champion Kelowna Owls are set to battle the Riverside Rapids.

The Gators were the provincial silver medalists last season while Brookswood and Riverside placed fifth and sixth, provincially.

Today the four teams will battle at to see who will square off in the championship final tonight at 8 p.m.
