For the second straight day at the Canada Winter Games, Lou Gibson struck for a silver medal.The 46-year-old from Langley, who competes in men’s sit-ski para-cross-country skiing, won silver in the 800m sprint race on Tuesday in Halifax.The second-place finish came on the heels of another silver medal on Monday, in the 2.5 km race.In both races, Quebec’s Sebastian Fortier won the gold medal.Gibson has competed for five years and he also represented Canada at the 2010 Paralympic Games in Vancouver.Gibson suffered serious spinal injuries when he was involved in a cycling accident in 2003 while training for a triathlon.
