The Revelstoke Bantam Grizzlies swept Salmon Arm in its first round of the playoffs last weekend.

The Revelstoke Bantam Grizzlies defeated Salmon 9-2 on Saturday and 7-1 on Sunday to sweep the best-of-three series and advance to the next round of the playoffs.

Nii Noi Tetteh led the way for Revelstoke with a hat trick on Saturday. Peter Grimm and Josh Pilon scored two goals each in the blow out win at the Forum.

Sunday in Salmon Arm, Revelstoke won the series with a 7-1 win.

The Grizzlies will now move on to face Winfield this weekend. The series begins this Saturday, Feb. 16, at 3 p.m at the Revelstoke Forum. Game two is Sunday at 4:45 p.m. in Winfield and game three is Friday, Feb. 22, at 5 p.m. in Revelstoke, if necessary.

The team has hopes of making the provincials this year and has embarked on a bottle drive to fund their trip. You can drop off your cans at 125 Columbia Park Drive.
